Health in search engines and real life

Posted on January 17, 2007 - Filed Under News | 3 Comments

I joined the gym because for the first time in my life I am starting to gain weight. I went from a lean and muscular 175 lbs. to an uncomfortable 195 lbs. in the last 6 months and just do not like the way it looks and feels.

For those who like to follow trends, the days after Christmas are filled with “health” related searches so I am considering starting a health blog to track personal development.

What kinds of health related sites have the best chance of doing well and possibly becoming something in the future? You got it, real life sites with real life people doing what they enjoy.

What does this have to do with SEO? Pretty much everything, follow your passions…

Personally I chose to start with Atkins and after a month migrate to the Zone. Within 2.5 months I lost 30lbs and have maintained it on the Zone.

I have not been to the gym even once during this process.

Aaron – The only reason I am going to the gym is the cardio and strength training thing. Thanks man, I will checkout Atkins and the Zone. Also healthy cooking is something I am studying, do you cook? :)

  3. Aaron Shear Says:

Yeah I love to cook, when I have time. Living in the food mecha of the US San Francisco, we have great classes and places to get ideas from.
