John Edwards and Social Media

Posted on January 4, 2007 - Filed Under News | 2 Comments

Robert Scoble who I once interviewed here goes on a plane ride with Senator John Edwards and asks him a few questions about social media and blogging.

Edwards sees blogs, podcasts and media as a way to build from the “ground up” so yes, he is mildly aware of it. He also admits that he is a little slow at typing so he has someone blog what he says for him.

John Edwards has a website which is a little weak on content, but he is early to adopt.

Here is the audio interview by Scoble, they were sitting close to the engines in the small plane so it was a little noisy.

Nice work Robert Scoble!

John Edwards knows a lot about poverty, after all, he’s helped throw a lot of people into it with:

    - his co-sponsorship of H-1b visas,

    - his support for illegal aliens,

    - his vote for MFN-China

but what about stuff like iraq war and the patriot act?

well, he voted for them too

About the only thing you can say for Edwards is, he spent so much time running for president that he didnt have time to do more damage as senator

You’ve got to ask yourself – ‘what did he do, with the power he had, when he had it?

True, and instead of offering solutions he uses demagoguery and fear mongering. That I shy away from as do others.
