I think that the report includes a number of items that have no bearing on SEO at all, including mentioning alexa rank, .edu and.gov links (because they carry no more weight than any other type of link), improper use of tables (?), number of words on the page, it says “META data isn’t used by search engines anymore” but Yahoo still look at the keywords meta tag… etc etc

SEO has moved on a long way since this report was written.

back from having a go at the SEO Analyzer tool,

only thing i found was, it wasnt verifying . extensions.

while testing out a site, i made a typo and instead of saying .com i said it as .cmo and it still gave me a valid report .

That is exactly what makes it good, a no bullshit good basic seo report but yeah, throwing in a little color and bling can only help.
