Validating a feed

Does your blogs feed validate? Check it here.
Does your Feedburner feed validate? Mine didn’t. Check that here.
I had neglected to see the value of “feeds” but recently noticed a positive trend.
Most popular bloggers have 8000 or more subscribers which is kind of impressive, it looks like time to play around in this area.
I have fixed the feed to comments and regular posts, added a “subscribe to feed” icon at the top right of this blog and in just a day or two see 46 new subscribers.
Won’t you also subscribe to SEO Buzz Box? Thank You!

Hey Aaron,
Greetings from FeedBurner in Chicago. Thanks for utilizing our service. We have a whole suite of tools that you can use to increase the number of subscribers of your feed. Take a look at FeedFlare under your “optimize” tab at FeedBurner. I can offer you a few more tips if you’re interested. And…if there’s every anything you need from FeedBurner, feel free to give us a shout at publishers@feedburner.com.

Aaron,
Thank you for the valuable information. Thankfully, my feeds (RSS and Feedburner) validated with no errors. I am an SEO (in-house), not a programmer, so validators are extremely important when I don’t have a couple of programmers in my quiver.

No problem Stephen, I am glad my short post was of some use to you.
Note: If you use iframes they will appear to break your valid feed but ignore the errors, I have confirmed with the people at feedburner that this is not the case.
